Police arrested an Eastbrook man in connection with the robbery of the Rite Aid on Union Street in Bangor.
Jeffrey Macy is accused of showing a note indicating he was armed and telling the pharmacist not to contact police.
Police reportedly chased Macy's car from the pharmacy to Bangor Municipal Golf Course, where they used a cruiser to stop the vehicle.
We're told that based on his criminal history, the severity of the current charges and the recent history of local pharmacy robberies, bail was set at 50-thousand dollars cash.
Macy is due back in court next month.
