Haynes Timberland Pleads Not Guilty in Marijuana Case


Township 37 - A lawyer representing a timber company charged in connection with a pot growing operation in Washington County was in court Friday morning.

The attorney for Haynes Timberland pleaded not guilty on the company's behalf to federal drug charges.

Drug agents say in 2009, they found nearly 3,000 pot plants in Township 37.

Rodney Russell, 49, Robert Berg, 49, Malcom French, 50, and Kendall Chase, 55, are also charged in connection to the case.

They're facing federal drug offenses and charges of harboring illegal aliens.

All have been released on bond.
