Bangor -
A South Thomaston man facing drug charges was arraigned in federal court in Bangor this morning.
49-year old Rodney Russell and three others are charged with numerous federal drug offenses.
Drug agents say in 2009, they found nearly 3,000 pot plants in Township 37 in Washington County.
Russell is also charged with harboring illegal aliens. He was released on $10,000 bail Monday.
Russell pleaded not guilty to all 10 counts against him. His trial is scheduled for November.
Russell's co-defendants have all made bail.
49-year old Robert Berg of Dexter was released yesterday on a $250,000 property bond.
55-year old Kendall Chase was released Monday on a $250,000 property bond.
Haynes Timberland, a corporation also indicted in the case, may lose its business as prosecutors are looking at forfeiture of the company, along with the release of the property that was allegedly used to grow the marijuana.
A representative of Haynes Timberland is due in court tomorrow.
