Bangor -
Four 17-year-old boys have been charged in connection to graffiti crimes in Bangor.
Late Tuesday afternoon, two Bangor boys were charged with Aggravated Criminal Mischief, and one teen from Orrington was charged with Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief.
The charges are related to graffiti in the city this past weekend and over the summer.
Wednesday morning, police found one of those same teens reportedly involved in more graffiti at the intersection of Garland and Essex Streets. Another 17-year-old boy from Hampden was also charged with Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief on Wednesday.
On Saturday morning a rabbi at the Beth Israel Synagogue on York Street found swastikas, upside down crosses and the numbers 666 spray painted at the synagogue.
Across the street, similar drawings were found on the Beth Abraham Synagogue.
Bangor Police will be forwarding the investigation to the Office of the Attorney General in regards to the damages caused at the synagogues.
