This is a recipe for Hot Milk Cake sent to TV 5 by Mary Dow from Bass Harbor.
It looks like the recipe comes from a cook book and is credited to Arletta Flagg. The top right corner of the recipe page says Moody's Diner.
Hot Milk Cake
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 cup boiling milk
3 tbsp. Oleo
Directions:
Beat together eggs and sugar. Sift dry ingredients and add to eggs. Add oleo to boiling milk and mix into batter. Stir in vanilla. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees in greased and floured 8-inch pan.
