Annual Dinner to Support Maine Food Producers

3

Unity - Food made in Maine will be on the dinner menu at Unity College, Wednesday night.

The school is hosting a meal, featuring ingredients from local businesses, called the Hunters and Huggers Dinner.

The menu will feature anything from assorted Maine cheeses to lobster, but it's a night that is as much about eating as it is supporting our local food producers.

"It celebrates Maine foods and Maine food history and introduces our students to the region and our local foods and farmers and history," said dining manager, Lorey Duprey.

The dinner runs from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Unity College cafeteria. The cost is $8.00 per person for the general public.
