Randolph -
The Kennebec County Sheriff's Department is investigating a home invasion and robbery in Randolph.
Deputies say a man entered a home on Elm street around 11:20 Saturday night. We're told the suspect demanded money from the homeowner, who resisted. Police say the intruder then assaulted him, got the money, and fled on foot.
Authorities searched the area, but didn't find the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit at the Kennebec County Sheriff's Department at 623-3614.
