One Killed, One Injured in Weekend Crashes in Blue Hill

Blue Hill - One person was killed and another injured in two separate car crashes in Blue Hill over the weekend.

The accidents come just one week after another man died in Blue Hill when he was run over by his girlfriend.

Hancock County Deputies say 68-year-old Nicholas Boys of Sedgwick was on the Hinckley Ridge Road Friday afternoon when his car drifted to the opposite side and slammed into a tree.

He died at the hospital.

Sunday night another driver, 58-year-old Sally Fischel of Holden, was taken to the the hospital after she said she fell asleep and crashed her car on Main Street.

The vehicle hit a utility pole, a phone booth and a building before it stopped.

Lieutenant Tim Cote says the recent string of crashes in Blue Hill is coincidental.
