There are many fundraisers held around our state, but Sebasticook Family Doctors and Hoofs-N-Hearts, teamed up to do a unique sort of charity event.
With the help of Katahdin Trail Saddlery, they hosted the Lil' Buckaroos Rodeo.
The money raised goes to gas cards for cancer patients needing to get to appointments.
Organizers say they've had overwhelming community support.

Video: Two teens stranded 8,000 feet up on cliff rescued by chopper
In Sierra Buttes, Calif., two boys hiked up a jagged cliff and ended up stranded 8,000 feet up. The California Highway Patrol sent a chopper and had to lower a harness to carry them to safety, since climbing down was not an option. Scott Pelley reports.
