Charity Rodeo to Help Raise Money for Cancer Patients

Charleston - There are many fundraisers held around our state, but Sebasticook Family Doctors and Hoofs-N-Hearts, teamed up to do a unique sort of charity event.

With the help of Katahdin Trail Saddlery, they hosted the Lil' Buckaroos Rodeo.

The money raised goes to gas cards for cancer patients needing to get to appointments.

Organizers say they've had overwhelming community support.

(Robin Winslow-CEO, Sebasticook Family Doctors, Elaine Ritano and Sami Brawn-Co Founders of Hoofs N Hearts) The community has been very giving. Whenever we reach out to them they step up to the plate. Helping our community is a big part of us and it makes us feel that we're helping people. We've seen it happen in our lives and to our own family members
