Eddington -
Fighting cancer can a difficult and costly battle. One family organized their own fundraiser to help make ends meet.
The event was organized for Helen Leger who was diagnosed with cancer in August.
Food, music, and a raffle was held to raise money for Leger's medical expenses.
Many businesses donated items for the raffle and the bands performed free of charge.
Relatives say word of mouth helped create a huge turnout.
"People invited their friends, their family. a lot of people we don't even know and they're coming to support. It restores your faith in humankind that people are good and that they will support people they don't even know."
