Bangor -
On Wednesday, John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor lost a student in a tragic accident.
16 year-old Owen Krause of Stockton Springs died in a crash in Prospect.
Head of school, Mel Mackay, says Owen was a free-spirited, one-of-a-kind person.
He was an honor roll student, ran cross-country, and was loved for his unique and warm personality.
Mackay says students are remembering Krause by wearing tie-dyed shirts, one of his favorites.
He says it's been tough on everyone at the school and they have grief counseling in place.
"What it looks like to us, is that with the passage of time, people are coping better and better, in particular, students are benefiting from the chance to be together, talk to counselors, comfort one another and we hope that they remember for the family involved here, this is one of the toughest things you could ever experience."
A celebration of Owen's life will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the school.
Donations can be sent in his memory to Stockton Springs Community Church or the John Bapst General Scholarship Fund.
