Penobscot Valley Girls Soccer Beats Bangor Christian To Stay Unbeaten

Bangor - High school soccer today and a couple girls teams with five wins facing off. Penobscot Valley was at 5-0-1 coming in, while Bangor Christian was 5-1-0.

Bethany Heald with an early goal for the Howlers, but midway through the first half, Katherine Jones kicks to Rebecca Bach in the middle. Her header is scooped up by Sam Ireland.

Later in the half, PVHS breaks through again. Jenna Hope passes to Amy Hallett and the freshman finds the back of the net to put the Howlers up 2-0 at the time. Penobscot Valley goes on to win it, 2-1 the final.
