A fast food chain is looking to hire over 1,000 New England residents.
Thursday, September 20th, is the Maine McDonald's "My First Job" Hiring event. The chain is looking to add about 1,800 new employees.
Managers are looking for hire school students who want work experience and a first job.The hiring event will start at 3pm at the Belfast McDonald's on Main Street. Applicants can apply for open positions and interview with managers on site.
They are looking to fill positions at the Belfast, Bucksport, Ellsworth, Machias and Old Town locations.
