Carmel -
One person was taken the hospital after two vehicles collided in Carmel.
The cars were on Route 69 Tuesday morning, also known as the Hampden Road.
Deputy Garrit McKee says it appears driver inattention played a role in the wreck.
"One vehicle had stopped just over the crest the hill. Another vehicle traveling behind it didn't see it stop and ended up rear-ending it."
The driver of the first vehicle was taken to the hospital with neck pain.
No word on if any charges will be filed.
