In Orono this afternoon, the UMaine women's soccer team hosting Fairfield.
This one was an evenly matched contest. In the 1st half though, the Black Bears with a golden opportunity. Nikki Misener with a breakaway but her shot rolls just to the right of goal, and this one stayed scoreless.
In the second half, another chance for Maine. Misener passes to Taylor Frame
and her shot is just kept out of the net by the goalkeeper. This game would go through two overtimes, but would end in a 0-0 tie.
