Two Men Arrested in Bangor on Oxycodone Charges Appear in Court
State drug agents have arrested two people in Bangor on drug charges near the same apartment where one of the three people who was killed in a car fire in Bangor last month was last seen alive.
Agents say they arrested 35 year-old Jeramie Schell of Bangor and 25 year-old Dereck Ntim of the Bronx yesterday near 15 Bolling Drive.
Schell is charged with trafficking in oxycodone after agents say they bought drugs from him within the last month.
We're told Ntim was arrested with 78 oxycodone tablets and more than $6,500 cash.
MDEA Division Commander Darrell Crandell tells TV5 the arrests are not related to the triple homicide in Bangor.
Witnesses say one of the victims, 24 year-old Nicolle Lugdon of Eddington, had been at 15 Bolling Drive before going for a ride with at least two other people.
Her body was found in a burning car a few hours later, along with the bodies of 26 year-old Daniel Borders of Hermon and 28 year-old Lucas Tuscano of Bradford.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has now joined that investigation.
Thursday marks the one-month anniversary since the deaths.
