The folks at Down East AIDS Network hope a walk this weekend will bring them one step closer to their goal - zero.
They're putting on the annual AIDS Awareness Walk: Walk for Zero.
Zero being the number of cases of HIV and AIDS-related deaths they'd like to see in the world.
They'd also like to wipe out the stigma attached to AIDs.
Two fundraising walks will take place on Saturday, September 15th - one in Bar Harbor, one in Machias.
Registration for both begins at 9 a.m., the walks start at 10 a.m.
