It's Hunger Action Month and a local bank is doing its part to help.
Bangor Savings Bank is collecting money for Good Shepherd Food Bank.
It's the Give a Dollar, Feed a Family campaign, organized by Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger relief charity.
You can donate money at any of the 56 Bangor Savings Bank branches. There's no amount too small.
" We love to work with Good Shepherd because they can leverage so much, so much food for so few dollars. So every one dollar can feed a family of four," said Carol Colson, senior vice president at Bangor Savings Bank.
