Limestone -
A 20-year-old man from Limestone appealed his manslaughter case in the death of his infant daughter to the State Supreme Judicial Court Wednesday.
Nicklas Jones pleaded guilty last year to killing his 3-month old daughter in 2009.
The state medical examiner said she died from blunt trauma to the head.
He was sentenced to six years.
His lawyers claimed Jones wasn't read his rights when he was interviewed by police.
They also say his age wasn't taken into consideration.
Jones was 17 when his daughter died and police arrested him.
