Fundraiser for Family of Mt. Vernon Man Killed in Accident

Mt. Vernon - There's a fundraiser this weekend for the family of a man killed in Mount Vernon.

Manley Damren, 76, was riding his lawn tractor last week when it was hit by a car. Damren was killed.

Friends have decided to donate money raised from this weekend's Family Fun Days to Damren's wife.

The event is Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5:30pm at Mount Nebo Orchard on Wings Mills Road in Mt. Vernon.

There will be events for the whole family, including pick-your-own apples for 60-cents a pound.

It's free to get in, but donations are appreciated.

If you can't make it to Family Fun Days, but still want to help, click here.
