Second Man in Greenbush Home Invasion Case Appears in Court

Bangor - A second man accused of taking part in a home invasion in Greenbush and brutally beating the woman inside appeared in a Bangor courtroom on Friday.

21 year-old Ryan Petrin of Grindstone was arrested around 8:00 Thursday night.

He's charged with robbery and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.

A judge set bail today at one thousand dollars.

Authorities say Petrin and 23 year-old Nicholas Hutchinson broke into a house early Monday morning and attacked Marcia Fieger, while her two young children were there.

Hutchinson made his first court appearance on Tuesday.

Fieger believes the men were after money and prescriptions.

In court today, Petrin's lawyer said Petrin only thought he was along with Hutchinson to help collect some money Hutchinson was owed.

Hutchinson's bail was set at 50 thousand dollars.

He remains in the Penobscot County Jail.
