Bangor -
Staff Sergeant Jessica Wing will be laid to rest this weekend.
She was killed last week, while serving as Black-Hawk Crew Chief in Kuwait.
Officials have said the Glenburn woman's death was not combat related.
Her body arrived at Bangor International Airport on Friday morning.
Fellow soldiers were on hand to honor her.
" She strove for excellence. She always wanted to make sure that the mission came first. The medevac meant a lot to her, it was very important to her. Aviation was very important to her. She strove to make sure everyone around her was trained and equipped as well as they could be," said Sgt. Sean Miller with the U.S. Army.
Visiting hours for Wing are Saturday at 1pm at the Augusta Armory. Her funeral will be at the armory at 2pm.
