Bangor -
Sun, fun, and food were all served up on the Bangor waterfront for a special group of people.
Bangor Parks and Recreation held their 5th Annual Lobster Picnic for Seniors.
Around 65 people came out, and they had their choice between butter-soaked lobster or bbq chicken.
It's a chance for some older members of the community to get outside and enjoy the weather before winter sets in.
"We do a lot of youth programming and we just would like to do more for all ages and this is a great opportunity for people to come out, meet and greet each other, and just have a great time," said Tim Baud, Recreation Programmer at Bangor Parks and Rec.
That's why some returned...
"It's our third time here. We always have a good time."
And why the staff at Siesta Haven, an assisted living facility in Bangor, brought residents out.
"We're having fun! They were looking forward to coming. Some had lobster and some had chicken."
And some, just aren't done.
"Still eating!"
