Limerick -
A Massachusetts man was reportedly growing marijuana in Maine.
Agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency say Jay Dandreo, 50, of Lynn, was growing pot on family owned property in Limerick.
Drug agents seized 183 fully grown marijuana plants from Dandreo's property on Sawyer Mountain Road in August. Agents say the plants ranged in height from 3 to 6 feet with a street value of more than $275,000.
We're told Dandreo turned himself in to drug agents on Wednesday. In addition to the marijuana, a loaded shotgun and three other guns that were not loaded, were reportedly found in Dandreo's cabin.
