Bangor -
It was a big day for United Cerebral Palsy of Maine.
They launched their first ever World Cerebral Palsy Day with a booth at the Bangor Mall. Organizers are dedicating the month of september to CP.
They're asking the world how they would change it in one minute for someone with CP.
Organizers say an event like this is exciting, because it's already drawing some much-needed attention to CP.
"Sometimes, CP gets under the radar, so to be able to bring out the message and awareness around CP is huge. So, it's exciting to go on and see all the ideas people are going on and submitting," said Tish Pendergrast, the UCP of Maine Resource Development Coordinator.
If you would like to submit an idea, you can log onto worldcp.org.
