Bangor -
The Husson Eagles taking on Vassar College this afternoon. This was the first game for new head coach Carly Gettler.
This game was a defensive battle in the first half. Vassar with a corner midway through the half, but a nice play by Lauren Marcoux to kick the ball away from the net, spoiling an opportunity for the Brewers.
Husson had trouble getting into the offensive zone, but they had one big opportunity. Miranda Drinkwater gives to Kayleigh Piccirillo, but she's forced to go back up top. The Eagles can't find the back of the net on the play. The Brewers would score late in the first half and they would not look back. Vassar beats Husson today, 2-1 the final.
