Hartwick Routs Husson In Football Season Opener

3

Bangor - The Husson Eagles were at home in Bangor, hosting Hartwick College.

The Hawks came out firing. Just two plays into the game, quarterback Mike Mathews lobs a pass down field to a wide open Frankie Molina and he's got plenty of open field in front of him. A 60-yard score puts Hartwick up 7-0 early.

Later in the 1st, it's 10-0 Hawks. Off a Husson turnover, Joseph Rosiecki rolls his way through into the end zone to put Hartwick up 17-0.

Then, just two plays into the next drive for the Eagles, Kash Keezer's pass is picked off by Dante Crump. He takes it 30 yards to the promiseland!

Ben Foss would score two TD's in the second half for Husson, but it was not enough to come back. Hartwick beats Husson, 55-14 the final.
