The energy services and technology program at Kennebec Valley Community College just got a big boost.
KVCC was awarded a grant for more than $700,000.
The program trains students to work on high-efficiency plumbing, heating, ventilation, and cooling systems in buildings.
KVCC will use the money to expand the curriculum, as well as form partnerships with career and technical high schools and the University of Maine.
