Old Town -
High school field hockey teams getting a jump on the fall sports season in the area today. In Old Town this afternoon the Dexter girls came to play the Coyotes. Dexter has a new coach in Kylie Damon. She was named to the job just a week ago. This will be a rare season with out a Veazie at the helm. Damon helped Skowhegan with four state titles as a player in high school.
Dexter ended up winning its season opener today, 3-1 over Old Town.
