Four Million Dollars to Go to Acadia Transportation Services


Isleboro - Four million dollars in federal money is coming to Maine to improve transportation around Acadia National Park and upgrade ferry service to Isleboro.

About three million will be invested in the Acadia Gateway Welcome Center and passenger facility in Trenton.

Another million will help fund the design of a ferry to replace the Margaret Chase Smith, which runs between Isleboro and Lincolnville.
