Houlton -
A trucker stopped at the Houlton border crossing on his way into Maine has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.
40-year-old Douglas Danford of Florida appeared in federal court in Bangor Monday.
He was stopped in Maine in 2009 as he was leaving Canada.
Danford admitted to border agents his laptop computer had naked pictures of underage girls.
Prosecutors say a search of the computer turned up more than 600 images of child pornography, both pictures and videos.
Danford faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
