Ellsworth Man to Prison for Video Taping Girl in Bathroom

Ellsworth - A man from Ellsworth is going to prison for six years for possessing child pornography after admitting to video taping a young female relative.

42-year-old Thomas King was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Bangor.

He pleaded guilty last fall to secretly recording two videos of the victim while she was in a bathroom.

The crime was committed more than three years ago when the girl was under the age of 12.

King used a camera hidden in a clock on a windowsill. It was discovered by the girl's mother.

King was also ordered to serve 10 years of supervised release.
