Sentencing Delayed for Man Behind Two Bangor Store Robberies

Bangor - The sentencing hearing for 29-year old Brian Caggiano, who was convicted of robbing the Garland Street Market and Mount Hope Variety Store last year, was postponed Tuesday.

The Veazie native was supposed to be sentenced for three counts of robbery, which he pleaded guilty to in April. However, the judge presiding over the proceedings delayed the hearing so that Caggiano could be sentenced by the same judge who took his plea.

A new date for the hearing was not set.
