Bangor - Police say two men are seriously injured after being beat up Friday night in Howland.

Four people were arrested for the crime. They are Charles Gardner, Henry McKinnon, John McKinnon, and Brandon Summerson.

Each made their first court appearance in Bangor via video on Monday. All four are charged with aggravated assault.

According to the state police website, one of the victims has 80 facial fractures and evidence of being kicked several times in the groin. The other victim has numerous fractures, including a broken eye socket and broken ribs, and all of his teeth have been knocked out. That victim was put in the intensive care unit for an unregulated heart beat.

All four men are being held at the Penobscot County Jail on $10,000 bail each.

$10,000 isn't a small amount for these families. It might as well be $100,000. Personally knowing the families of ALL of those involved, I can assure you guys It's a hard time for all of them. Jail for life, in my opinion, is a bit to much. Killing them is even harsher. No need to resort to violence.

a fist fight is a fist fight....black eye, cut lip, bruises etc......but when you intentionally try to kill someone.....what in the name of Jesus was that judge thinking.....makes me ill.........
