While Senior League dreams were coming true at Mansfield Stadium, our very own Wayne Harvey was helping to make sure more young kids would have those kinds of opportunities. Wayne and friends hosting the annual "Wiffle For A Wish" tournament today.
A group of 34 wiffleball teams invading the Union Street Complex to help raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The goal this year was to put together about 9,000 dollars for the cause, and everybody was having a good time doing it! One very interesting story: Keith Anderson and his fiancee, Krysta LaPointe, actually scheduled their wedding, which is next Saturday, around the tournament because it means so much to them.
