Police Search For Suspects After Hampden Home Break-In

Hampden - Hampden police are looking for two women after a house on Emerson Mill Road was broken into early Friday morning.

Police say the resident came home around 12:30 and noticed a car sitting in the driveway, with a woman inside.

When the resident asked her what she was doing, she said she was looking for someone who lived on that street.

A second woman walked out from behind the home.

The resident explained they must have the wrong house and the women drove off.

When the resident went inside, they realized their home had been broken into.

The car that the women were in is described as gold with a Maine license plate with some kind of pink airbrush on the back window.

The driver is described as a shorter woman, in her 30's or 40's with short sandy blonde hair.

The passenger is described as about 5'6, very thin, with brown hair.

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Department is investigating a similiar incident in Hermon.

If you have any information, call Hampden Police at 862-4000.
