A woman police say murdered her former boyfriend in Waldoboro last month before shooting herself in the face made her first court appearance Friday.
On Wednesday, State Police detectives arrested 25-year-old Arline Seavey, who also goes by the name Arline Lawless.
Seavey is charged with shooting and killing her boyfriend, 34-year-old Norman Benner of Waldoboro, last month.
Seavey appeared in Lincoln County Superior Court Friday afternoon, where she did not enter a plea.
She is being held without bail.
Her next court date has not been scheduled.
