The state's offering homeowners and farmers a way to get rid of old pesticides, safely and for free.
Four collection sites will be set up in October.
The Board of Pesticides Control, the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Environmental Protection are organizing the event.
Because of safety and regulation issues, you have to register to with the state to take part in the drop off.
The deadline to do that is September 28th.
Once you do, you'll be given information about where and when you can dispose of the toxic chemicals.
