Brewer Woman Pleads Guilty in Caribou Pharmacy Robbery

Brewer, Caribou - A woman from Brewer pleaded guilty to helping her boyfriend rob a pharmacy in Caribou last year.

24-year-old Amy Geroux appeared Thursday in federal court in Bangor.

She's being held without bail and is expected to be sentenced in the fall.

Geroux also pleaded guilty to drug and gun charges.

She was found in a motel in Brewer with a large amount of bath salts, cash and a gun, less than a week before the robbery.

Prosecutors say last November 30-year-old Shayne Ellis robbed the Caribou Rite Aid and Geroux drove the getaway car.

Last month, Ellis was ordered to serve five-and-a-half years in prison in the state's first reported sentencing for a federal bath salts case.
