Indian Island -
A man who threw two Molotov cocktails at a house on Indian Island is going to prison for a little more than 3 years.
25-year-old Alex Glossian of Indian Island was sentenced Wednesday in federal court in Bangor.
In February, he pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device.
Court documents say in June of 2010, Glossian and another man lit two beer bottles full of gasoline and tossed them through the windows of the home.
No one was hurt, but there the fire caused extensive damage.
Glossian was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release and pay $9070 in restitution.

In Sierra Buttes, Calif., two boys hiked up a jagged cliff and ended up stranded 8,000 feet up. The California Highway Patrol sent a chopper and had to lower a harness to carry them to safety, since climbing down was not an option. Scott Pelley reports.
