Police have arrested a woman they say murdered her boyfriend in Waldoboro last month before shooting herself in the face.
State Police detectives arrested 25-year-old Arline Seavey, who also goes by the name Arline Lawless, Wednesday afternoon as she was being discharged from the Spring Harbor Treatment Center in Westbrook.
Seavey is charged with shooting and killing her boyfriend, 34-year-old Norman Benner of Waldoboro, last month at the Freindship Road home in Waldoboro the couple rented.
On July 24, Benner's family members discovered him dead and Seavey wounded before calling the police.
Seavey is being held at Two Bridges Jail in Wiscasset. She is expected in court tomorrow or Friday in Lincoln County.
