Trenton -
Road crews are getting ready for a major project in Trenton.
They're redesigning the intersection of Routes 3 and 230, as well as doing some reconstruction and drainage work.
First they'll start with clearing some trees in the area.
That's scheduled to begin Thursday, August 16th and last for three or four days.
Then they'll start installing new drainage on Route 3 on Sunday, August 19th
That work will be done overnight but there could be some daytime delays for drivers.
The $2.3 million project is expected to continue through mid-November, then resume in the spring.
Daytime road construction is scheduled to start after Columbus Day weekend in October.
