Bangor -
A transient accused of stabbing a man to death in Bangor is denying he did it.
41-year-old Jason Trickett is charged with manslaughter.
Trickett appeared in court Monday after being indicted in June.
The Bangor Daily News reports he pleaded not guilty.
In May, 38-year-old Andy Smith was stabbed on First Street.
Witnesses said a group of people attacked him after Smith attacked a woman.
Smith died at a Bangor hospital.
