Skowhegan -
A baseball field in Skowhegan got a much needed makeover over the weekend.
The Pat Quinn Memorial Field was brought back to life with some help from the community.
Quinn was a dedicated former coach. His family tells us quinn spent a lot of his time helping kids.
The family received more than two thousand dollars in donations for the field renovations.
( brady price-volunteer coach and grandson of pat quinn) "as bad as times are, it wasn't that hard. a lot of people were very generous and had no trouble helping out."
The National Guard and the Skowhegan Parks and Recreation Department also assisted with restoring the field.
Some of the improvements included re-painting, a set of bleachers, and a new sign.
