Bangor - Ten baseball teams from around the World and the United States marching into Mansfield Stadium tonight to kick off the 2012 Senior League World Series. Fans packing the stands to watch as the Junior District Champs from the Pine Tree State were recognized. There were five of those teams, from Holbrook, Hampden-Newburgh, Bangor, and two from Hermon. Then, each of the World Series squads were introduced on the field, including this year's Maine representative, the District 3 Champions from Hampden-Newburgh. It was all topped off with a fireworks display. Nick Coit caught up with some of the Maine players at the field tonight.
