Bangor, Dedham -
Organizers of an event that lets little kids get up close to a lot of big trucks don't want to take a chance on the weather this weekend.
The Touch-a-Truck Fair, which was scheduled for Saturday, August 11th, will be held next month instead.
It's at the Cole Land Transportation Museum in Bangor and it's a fundraiser for Camp Capella in Dedham.
With more than 4 dozen big rigs, emergency vehicles and the like all planning to be there, organizers say they didn't want to risk the event getting rained out.
It's now set for Saturday, September 15th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In case it rains that day, it'll be Sunday, September 16th.
Tickets are $5 a person or $20 for a family.
All of the money raised will support camp programs for children and adults with disabilities.
