Hermon -
A Bangor man was taken to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after crashing his car in Hermon.
It happened around 1:30pm on Union Street.
Police say they believe Bruce Griffin, 60, had some sort of medical issue causing him to cross the center line and slam into a tree.
" We don't believe that there was any type of distractions such as cell phone, eating, or anything like that. There was nothing in the vehicle that indicated that," said Sgt. Michael Burgess with the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office.
Sgt. Burgess says when emergency crews found Griffin he was unresponsive, but woke up when crews were taking care of him.
