Bangor -
The Washington Post recently released the results of its annual high school challenge and a local school is on top.
John Bapst in Bangor came in as the number one school in northern New England.
The point of the challenge is to measure how good a school is at preparing students for college.
Around 27,000 high schools in the nation were included in the challenge.
john bapst did well overall, ranking in the top 50 in the entire northeast region and placing in the top 20% of schools nationwide.
