Bangor -
One of New England's largest insurance providers had an exciting announcement Monday.
Bangor-based Cross Insurance announced their new partnership with the Kraft Sports Group.
They've been working together for the past four years, but they are now the official insurance broker of the New England Patriots, the New England Revolution, and Gillette Stadium.
While Cross Insurance has become well known in New England, they say they want to maintain their family-owned business feel.
They think partnering with the Kraft family will keep them moving in the right direction.
"It's providing more resources to our employees, so when our employees go out and call on somebody in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, even Maine, you know, they've seen our name before. There's a comfort level because we're partnered with an organization like the Kraft family," said Jonathan Cross, Executive Vice President.
The company was founded in 1954.
They also recently announced they purchased naming rights for the new Bangor arena.
