Old Town -
It was out with the old, and in with the new for an Old Town landmark Friday.
The old Napa Auto Parts building was torn down.
Owners Lorie and James Dubay have owned the building since 1990.
Dubay took it over from his father, who previously owned the business since 1971.
The old building held a lot of memories for the family, but, ultimately it came down to efficiency.
"We all hate to see some of the older buildings go, but, sometimes they get hard to maintain, hard to afford the cost of heating them, and the newer efficient buildings are a lot better," said James Dubay.
"I think that the move was good for a change and easier for business and working out of it," said Dubay's son, James.
Tearing down the old building will make way for a new parking lot.
Iwill have 19 spaces, and it will be easier for customers to access the new Napa store.
